Vitamin C: We know it’s good for us and load up on it internally during cold and flu season to keep our immune systems boosted, but what you may not realize is how it can promote our skin’s health when applied topically. Ascorbic Acid, better known as Vitamin C, is a powerful antioxidant that assists in collagen production which is super useful considering this mighty vitamin also helps to slow pesky free radicals which cause collagen damage, fine lines and wrinkles and skin dryness. Sunshine Smoothie

  • 2 cups Spinach or Kale
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice (fresh squeezed is better)
  • 1 Chopped Frozen Banana (if not frozen, add 3 ice cubes)
  • 1/2 Cup Blueberries
  • 1 Cup Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter (optional)
  • 1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Carrots
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk or Water

Blend well and enjoy! For an added immunity boost, add a vitamin C immune support powder packet.
