It’s almost 2015, Beauties and we’re looking forward to a fresh start and putting our best face forward. Instead of setting resolutions that are absolutes or goals that may last for only a few weeks until we crumble, let’s start some simple good habits to hold onto in the new year.

First off, let’s make a pact to dream sweetly with a fresh, clean face. We know, we know…sometimes you’re just so darn tired, cleansing the makeup off your skin and eyes before bedtime can seem like a daunting task. But, your skin will thank you for letting it breathe easy throughout the night and before long, you’ll see the benefits of sweet dreams yourself. If you already wash your face every evening, let’s kick it up a notch…

Invest in a good night cream. Night creams, especially those containing retinol, help skin cells to turn over while we sleep and smooth over fine lines and wrinkles. What’s not to love about that? Let’s resolve to let the night time skin magic happen by adding a product like G.M. Collin’s Retinol Advanced + Matrixyl to our routine before we hit the sack.

If you’ve added the above two steps to your regime and you’re still not seeing a difference, exfoliation is the key! If you’re not into scrubs because they feel harsh on your sensitive skin, don’t fret-exfoliants have come a long way. Look for one that utilizes enzymes to get rid of dead skin cells and leftover makeup and use a couple times a week to start with a fresh dermal palette that will absorb products better.
